Since 1982, the checking and validation of
lease offers is our
main job and we are the unique providers of this service, both on
a professional and on an outsourcing basis. With our help, leasing
companies
protect themselves against property risks and frauds. In
addition, since 1995 we check the conformity of goods to the
European safety directives, mandatory by law.
But what are the property risks
involved in leasing? A lease contract involves a variety of property
risks and more than one can occur at the same time: a good's price might
be higher than its actual value, the dealer might offer out-of-date or
out-of-order goods and frauds are always present in the actual market.
Furthermore, a leasing
company might be unable to collect and/or resell goods in case of a
contract's interruption. Property risks are often underestimated and
this is a
dire mistake, considering that most of the losses in the leasing
activity are
caused by them. About 28% of the offers presents now some property and
fraud risks: in the year 2011 alone we found 652 unacceptable offers
for over Euro 140.000.000. Our control policy, based on a
scoring system strictly
connected to a daily markets analysis, certifies the offers on a rating
basis, giving our customers a better perspective for their contracts
securitization, in full compliance to the Basel's agreements
rules.
We are also providers in strategy evaluation for the minimum
losses in unsolved leasing contracts.
In order to make the
leasing system clearer, we organise a
yearly convention, open to
everyone and with no participation fee.
